Demand management – a new approach to balancing Ukraine’s power system
Experts from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and the Institute of Electrodynamics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine have proposed an approach to balancing Ukraine’s Integrated Power System by managing consumer demand. The proposed mechanism involves shifting the timing of electricity consumption, enabling households to save money and allowing the power system to reduce peak-hour load.
